Frequently Asked Questions

Approach
How do you start a new project?
Plus icon
Every project begins with a conversation about your product, target price, quantities and timeline. From there we review your references, sketches or existing tech packs and prepare a quote outlining the development scope. Your timeline begins once we have received both the signed quote or purchase order and your deposit.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Plus icon
100 units per style, with up to two colourways included in the MOQ rather than 100 per colour. The binding constraint is usually fabric rather than sewing: custom-dyed or custom-woven cloth carries a mill minimum by colour that often sits above the garment quantity, and custom trims carry their own. We confirm these against your specification before you commit.
What are your timelines?
Plus icon
Estimates range from 14 to 18 weeks from approved tech pack to shipment: 4 to 6 weeks development and sampling, 45 to 60 days production from deposit, then 4 to 6 weeks sea freight or 7 to 10 days air. Custom-dyed or custom-woven fabric sits ahead of sampling and adds four to eight weeks. We confirm the full timeline at costing.
How do you manage changes during development?
Plus icon
Changes are consolidated into each revision round so that fit, construction and finish are addressed together. Where a change affects cost, lead time or fabric minimums, we confirm the impact with you before it is actioned. Revision rounds beyond those agreed in your quote, along with requests outside the original scope, are quoted separately so that costs remain transparent throughout.
Can you source sustainable or certified fabrics?
Plus icon
Our mill network across Shaoxing and Guangdong includes suppliers offering recycled, organic and certified fabrications. Where certification is required for your market or buyers, we request supporting documentation from the mill at sourcing stage so it can be confirmed before bulk fabric is booked.
How do you ensure quality across production?
Plus icon
Our team maintains quality oversight at key stages of production, working with factories that meet our baseline standards. The first units off the line are reviewed against the approved pre-production sample before full shipment is authorised, and all bulk orders undergo pre-shipment inspection to AQL 2.5 (General Inspection Level II), with third-party inspection available on request.

On delivery, goods should be inspected within seven days and any defects reported in writing with photographs, allowing us to arrange repair, replacement, credit or a partial refund where a claim is accepted.
Business
Who do you typically work with?
Plus icon
We work with emerging labels, designers and buyers across outerwear, bottoms, headwear and socks. Our clients range from founders developing their first product to established brands expanding into new categories, with each project scoped to the stage the business is at.
Do you offer ongoing support for growing brands?
Plus icon
For brands with continuous development and production needs, we offer retainer arrangements billed on a monthly basis. This provides consistent access to our team across multiple styles and seasons, with the scope agreed during initial discussions.
Who owns my designs?
Plus icon
All designs, artworks, tech packs and branding materials you provide remain your exclusive property. We use them only to fulfil your order, and will not produce the same design for another client without your written consent.

Pricing, specifications and business terms are kept confidential during our engagement and for two years after, and we can execute a mutual NDA on request before you share sensitive materials. We may also feature finished products and imagery from our work together in our portfolio and marketing.
Do you sign NDAs?
Plus icon
Pricing, supplier identities, product specifications and business terms are kept confidential during our engagement and for two years following its conclusion. Where you require a formal agreement before sharing sensitive materials, we are happy to execute a mutual NDA on request.
